Site Purpose

This website was created to help me remember and be able to quickly and easily find Bible verses and praise songs which I find helpful when talking to people who are hurting, or are struggling with something in their life.  Eventually it evolved to include bite-sized information so anyone can come here and find something to help them.  Everything on this site is designed to be easy to quickly find a snippet of information on something you want to know.  We intentionally keep things short to make these concepts simple and to the point.  We include Bible references as much as possible so if you want to learn more about anything you find here, you can look it up and read the context.  We plan to continue adding Bible verses and passages to deal with various subjects, as well as a collection of praise music that helps us through different challenges that life throws our way.

If you have anything you need prayer for, please fill out the prayer request contact form.  We will pray for you, and we will pass your prayer request on to others to pray for you as well.

If this site helped you or you have suggestions on how to improve it, we'd love to hear from you, so please fill out the comment form to let us know.

A little about me and where I'm coming from

I'm a Christian who believes the Bible is God's holy word.  I believe God loves every one of us, and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and yours.  I believe in lots of things, but if they don't agree with the Bible, then I don't believe they're accurate.  This isn't a platform to argue with anyone, and my intent isn't to anger or offend anyone, but I don't apologize for my beliefs or what the Bible says.  A lot of people get hung up on various religious details, but I don't think a lot of that stuff is all that important.  I believe that what really matters is that someone believes Jesus Christ is God's only son, they've asked Him to forgive their sins and save them, and they have a personal relationship with Him.  I believe Jesus is alive, and a relationship requires work and commitment.  You can't just get saved, then ignore God for the rest of your life and expect that relationship to work.  Don't worry about having it all figured out, just do your best.  When you make a mistake or fall down, pick yourself back up and work to do better.  Nobody's perfect, and nobody's expecting you to be.  God sees what's in your heart, so do your best and he will honor it.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes:

If you want something, you'll find a way.  If you don't want something, you'll find an excuse.

Don't make excuses.  We all suck.  Work on sucking less today than you did yesterday.

God Bless You, and have a wonderful day!
